  • Yesterday Andy Thimbleberry was arrested for allowing people to smoke cannabis on his premises during the festival. He was yesterday formally charged and is due to appear in court on this charge early December.
As part of the production team I am waiting to see if I get arrested for aiding and abetting the smoking of cannabis on the festival site.

I wonder how this will effect any festival in the future as it will set the president that any person allowing a festival to happen on their land will or could be charged with the same offense.

So what do people think about this news?????????

to say the least of my feelings I'm gutted and very pissed off :wall: :curse:

Please log onto Andy Thimbleberry's face ache and give him support he really needs it, his facebook name is Andy Thimbleberry.

    Thanks for your support

  • Hey dude, how's it going? I was in Bournemouth town centre today, doing a bit of shopping :D But when I walked past the park, there was police tape all round it, and a huge police van and cars at the entrance  Do you know anything about that?
  • Basically, head right as you come out of the station, carry straight on down Holdenhurst road, which eventually turns off to the left into Old Christchurch Road, you can't miss it, there's a load of bars, kebab shops etc on that road  :P
  • It's on Old Christchurch Road, about 15 minutes walk from the train station :D
  • Not exactly a regular, but I've been in there a few times. It's basically a bar where you can sit round and smoke huge shisha pipes, they do all different flavours and stuff. They serve really tasty food as well, turkish and greek stuff. It's just got a really nice, chilled out vibe to it :hippy3: :D
  • Oh by the way, do you ever go to the Camel bar in Bournemouth?
  • I live in Wool, which is about half an hour on the train from Bournemouth :D

Not got much planned for this weekend, apart from drinking, lol :D
  • Hiya eco hippy! How's life treating you? It's good to see another Dorset dweller on the site! :D Would love to meet up some time, if you're up for it! Take care,

    Tom
