  • Yeah I'm going back to college again to finish my degree off. Just need a job for summer, as I'll start teaching samba again in term time.

Summer looks like being mostly just work. I'm going to Glastonbury with the samba lot again, but aside from that I'm not a huge fan of festivals. I prefer just gigs. Better sound, and less annoying people and mud. Saw Meshuggah last year in Glasgow, they are amazing live. It's not often I prefer bands newer stuff, but Meshuggah are one of those rare ones that keep getting better than better.

Not actually seen a decent band this year, need to fix that when I've got money. Just Download for you?
  • Technically unemployed, just helping run the local recording studio/practice rooms every now and then. What do you do?
  • I was working at the studio tonight, spent much of the afternoon boiling in the sun while playing with the samba band. I'm not a huge fan of this weather.

Working again tomorrow, and looking after the neighbours cat. How about you?
  • No of course not, I do like to think I'm cool ;)

    How's your weekend so far?
  • Thanks for the friend request. But, have we actually spoken? ;)
  • Hey. You sound very happy :)

The meet went good, had a very good conversation, didn't get a CD of his stuff though this time unfortunately.

Nah I haven't been out in the garden today the weathers too crap :S

    Hows things in wales going?
  • Hey there. I'm pretty good thanks. Putting together a CD of some of my music, I'm meeting a guy from Liverpool tommorow who also makes music to swap CD's and talk. Bit nervous :S.

Hows it going for you? I am enjoying the sun :) Been out helping my mum in the garden. I hope all is well with you.

    Have fun.
  • Wherever this particular day takes you, I hope that it's a day of peaceful reflection rather than sadness...

Today I started with an afternoon of yoga and then mainly pottering around town. The sun is in and out here... started with heavy rain, then the sun came out brightly and now it'd hidden again I'm very well, relaxed and smiling... peaceful. Starting dinner early, as I may be going to see a local band play and want all the domesticy things out of the way
My dream was about vampires... slightly affected by the film, seeing as part of my dream was almost exactly like one of the scenes and a little stimulant had my brain working well into my sleep I think. It wasn't so much a scary dream, I just had to keep them out of my bedroom and that was easy enough.. it was more the intensity that tired me out.

  • Just woke from a bad dream. Too much stimulant and watching Ken Russell's 'Altered states' probably didn't help :) Having a lovely sunny weekend so far though... how's you? :)
  • Hello Hattie :)

Thank you for stopping by. Tea? Ooo depends. If it's a herbal/fruit, then maybe a drop of Eucalyptus honey. Regular tea,I usually have Assam and have it black, slightly sea through, so it doesn't get bitter. I went through a phase of making loose tea and did the whole Chinese tea making thing, but after a while, you realise it takes about 5 minutes and a lot waster water to have a nice cuppa :)

    You're a tea fan?
