thanks guys i'll check these out xx
Hey people! :waves:
Sorry if this belongs in another section.. didn't know where to put it.
I wanna find out about jobs and/or volunteer work that involves lots of outside, people/animals/nature and possibly travel... i just want ideas really anyone know of anything or anyone i should look up?
Thankee :redsun: xx
thank you sarah!
thanks very much guys, this is all great advice i'm gonna run along to the doctors tomorrow still just in case there's anything else they can tell me... but if they just offer me steroids then i'll stick to the natural basics.
love to you all :redsun:
that sounds like something that should, in theory, be easy enough! i think water is a definite issue, i just don't think i drink enough.
i've eaten lots of broccoli recently so i'll keep that up and start on the rest
nettle tea sounds interesting... but i don't even like regular tea! hehe
i have a little worry at the moment...
recently i've been catching everything. i have started developing eczema on my wrists (which almost lead to me taking off my 2008 reading festival band >.< but i was strong! haha) and also have very dry skin on one eye lid... plus over christmas time i had impetigo for a while....
this is starting to bug me. my mum's partner seems to think my immune system is just not working as it should right now, possibly due to stress or something but i don't feel stressed.. though i guess i am in second year of uni.
i'm going to the doctors about it on friday but i just wanted to find out if any of you guys had any ideas for how to help my immune system?
i know it's not a huge problem but these are things that have been bugging me for a while now ._.
thanks a lot guys, these ideas should be good for me and my lack of cooking skills
I have to admit I'm a bit of a food anorak
i really appreciate that you are! thank youuuu these are great. i'll let you know how i get on xxx
thanks guys this is all good stuff! ...maybe i should actually start USING that student cookbook i have
hello again you beautiful people :waves:
i need advice on food. i want to cook good stuff for myself that's high in iron as i've been so tired recently and feel that might be what i'm lacking in my diet.
only trouble is i'm a student so i don't want to spend an awful lot of money on crazy ingredients.
i eat both meat and veg so anything goes really provided it isn't too spicy
hope you're all well!
i think it was very irresponsible, but those protests were nuts and i'm sure loads of damage was caused where people got away with all sorts. in a situation like that, it's understandable that someone in their late teens would be swept up in the madness. so many of those who actually got hurt and had to suffer without any consequences to the ones causing it.
..i think that if they didn't harm anyone then taking away almost 3 years of their life isn't right.

Hoppi: i find it funny the way this thread has not only started up again, but every time it does it involves a new person! rofl XD
yume: i've grown weary of this. dont get me wrong.. its been fun ¬.¬ carry on if u wish but to be honest i dont think its worth it to be fighting over an email that was meant to be a bit of fun in the first place
hoppi and yume: :waves:

That's not the point though, is it? People keep talking about "them" reading it and "they" realsining how much people hate "them". See my previous comments.
It's only funny if you have the sense of humour of a 12 yr old
i thought the point WAS the email... :book: isnt that what this threads about?
obviously people are using "they" to talk about those reading the email, no matter what position they are.
if u really don't see the funny side of this n if all u wanna do is dismiss everything anyone says as just being stupid n "childish" then why are u here arguing with us?
surely it's a better use of ur time in a thread where its a discussion n not turned into an argument... if u really wanna help in here then why not give us some ideas on how u'd go about it, don't just pick apart everything we say
...i'm not being rude, i'm honestly just asking u to consider what everyone has said n not shrug it off so readily :wiggle:

While you're busy snickering at how clever and funny you are for writing an email that a 12yr old could have composed with more imagination
sorry atomik but can u try not to patronise so much? it's not exactly helping. i realise u don't agree with any of this, but cant u see that hoppi KNOWS this email isnt gonna solve all the problems? he's not an idiot.
obviously this isnt the kinda mail that would get sent to those in authority anyway, its just a bit of comedy
just chill :hippy3:
i think there's nothing wrong with writing lil fun emails like that it seems obvious that they wont make a maHOOsive impact... but its just an extra touch onto anything anyone else wants to try to be heard whether they actually READ those emails or not... it must do something knowing they get that much hate mail!
before they hit delete, they KNOW its hate mail YAY!! that says something
...i'm gonna join hoppi for lunch :redsun:
