I find pictures of homeless people disturbing. This stems from the camera club experience. The average homeless person make a impacting environmental portrait but rarely did the photographer talk or engage with the person they shot. Many times I asked people "what was their name" and rarely did you get an answer. Personally I wont shoot any one living on the streets, they are not a photo topic, they are people who are not their for my entertainment.
