  • Ok there’s much debate in the US about the law regarding what rights a citizen has and what powers the Government hold, regarding intervention to immunise/vaccinate or detain anyone deemed to pose a health risk to “other” citizens. According to their constitution and Law. Officials/Police can apprehend anyone from off the street, who is considered a health risk to “others” by say, a contamination risk of a virus. These same officials/police can then escort a person into a surgery where a doctor can forcibly inject a vaccine into that citizen without the persons consent or detain them.

what rights to object to such treatment by the UK government or health service do we have as UK citizens?

Has a parent, can we object to our own children being vaccinated against this virus in the UK?

Who of us on here would jump at the chance to be vaccinated should one become deemed effective and safe for use?

Would you except a requirement to carry a virus status passport in the UK or when traveling abroad?

Would you voluntarily be tested for antibodies, even if you think you have avoided contamination so far?
would you have the test if you thought you had contracted the virus or recovered?

Would you comply with this tracking app if it wasn’t compulsory?

  • The Geneva Convention, to which the UK is party, forbids any medical experimentation on a human being without their consent. This was originally made for persons involved in war, but by extension of the Declaration of Human Rights, would now cover all humans.

Therefore, we have to look at how much and how well, and for how long, a vaccine (for example) has been tested before we can decide whether it has successfully passed the experimental stage.

If such vaccines or other medicines are not properly tested before being given to the public, the humans being vaccinated are part of an experiment, and as such, have to give consent.

  • The government of the UK has no powers to alter or change any part of either the Geneva Convention or the Declaration of Human Rights, so could not legally do so.

However, if in some way the USA set a precedent by sidelining the above (which it has arguably done in the past, over its treatment of prisoners of war), then if Boris is far up Donald's nether regions, and those of big pharma, the government here would have a precedent to point to, however poor such an argument would logically be.

This would be a situation in which the human rights movements would get involved, and if facing as well a united political opposition, could bring down the government. Considering the deaths over the past winter here have not surpassed those of previous recent winters, the present government would not be in a good position to argue a national emergency, as no more than might be considered usual have died.

  • The problem is, at one time people trusted vaccinations and their purposes, which were generally made only for medical reasons, and generally for the benefit of humankind.

But after at least a couple of decades of having cheap vaccines made in places where economy rather than medical accuracy was the main issue, and pushed by a big pharma interested only in large profits, resulting in thousands of suspected deaths, illnesses, and maiming of children, people do not trust vaccines as they used to.

So they suspect the motives behind any new vaccine push.

  • If vaccination exists then it becomes unnecessary to force it upon anyone....the vaccinated person has best possible outcome.... the unvaccinated continue at their own risk.

Except in very rare and extreme circumstances it is unlikely that any clinician would administer an injectable without consent..... Doing so constitutes serious physical assault and is counterproductive because it creates a traumatic experience that negatively affects the individuals future engagement with health services.

Vaccination would not be of high enough priority to the individuals health to be forced upon them.

They do force feed in some institutions, but I get your point. Just depends on the threat level it poses to others and if those are vaccinated it could become minimal level.

A UK appeals court has ruled that children in state care may receive “routine vaccinations” even when parents are opposed, adding that no court order is needed for the shots because they are in the child’s “best interests.”

Children in foster care may be vaccinated without a court order, against parental wishes, because vaccination is not considered a “serious medical treatment” that would justify High Court intervention, a three-judge appeals court panel ruled on Friday. Absent any “significant” or “unusual” reason a shot might not be in the child’s “best interests,” the London Borough of Tower Hamlets had full authority to arrange for a nine-month-old child in foster care to be vaccinated, the judges said in their decision.

    Kids have memories.

  • As a kid i had mumps, measels, shingles, and whooping cough and that was horrible, i had 6 months off primary school something i alaways wondered maybe made me crap at maths etc, because as a kid i was really good then i was rubbish at art, maths, reading went from good, to ok.

So if there had been vaccination against these horrible things surely it would have been better, at secondary school we got our jabs, and to be fair no one at secondary school( or later at college or as teenagers ) i remeber had measeles or anything major, just seasonal flus, and colds.

I dont get anti vaccers, id put them in the same category as jehovas wtnesses, they would rather let there kids die than have a blood tranfusion i have heard off nurses of such events, so in the same vain anti vaccer would rather let there kids potentially die or be realy ill needing possibly antibiotics, or anti virals, this is potentially more problematic as these once harmless (due to vacination) bugs become stronger becoming resistant to anitbiotics, just because people think its a conspirocy or unatural to jabs there kids with a vaccination, a live vaccination that our immune system can overcome to get tougher to fight of killer bugs

Absolutly mental when most anti vaccers had the benefit of being vaccinated as kids.

Heard from the front line off angry nurses, in dispair at anti vaccers, seeing a loved kid fighting for there life when a vaccination would have prevented this.

  • Prepper, parents who choose not to vaccinate or when and what they vaccinate their children with might be well founded sometimes. Often multi vaccines are administered at the same time (even in the same syringe) Some parents might choose to stagger vaccinations or want to be selective mmr, but not get the chance to except individual vaccinations. However, there is still a risk with any vaccine.
your right that those “nurses, doctors, health professionals” feels helpless or frustrated. Often misinformation plays a part with parents deciding not to go with vaccinations.

The most common serious injuries reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System include:

    • Shoulder injury. Shoulder injuries from vaccines can happen from the contents of the vaccine or from the administration of the injection.

Injuries can range from frequent soreness or pain to the complete loss of use of the shoulder. Common SIRVA injuries include Adhesive Capsulitis, Frozen Shoulder Syndrome, Shoulder Bursitis, Rotator Cuff Tears, and more.
    • Guillain-Barré syndrome. This syndrome has been linked to a number of vaccines, especially the yearly flu shot. Guillain-Barre syndrome happens when your immune system turns on itself, causing damage to nerve cells. This reaction, in turn, leads to muscle weakness and paralysis. While Guillain-Barré syndrome typically resolves within weeks, it can cause lasting nerve damage.
    • Chronic Arthritis. Combination vaccines containing the rubella virus are known to cause chronic rheumatoid arthritis. These vaccinations include the MMR vaccine. Common symptoms of arthritis are joint pain and swelling.
    • Encephalitis. Encephalitis occurs when an infection or the body’s immune response to infection affects the brain inflammation. Symptoms include headache, fever, fatigue, weakness, and pain. In worse case scenarios, encephalitis may cause permanent brain damage. While many cases resolve with time, it can be unpredictable and should be monitored by a healthcare provider.
    • Anaphylaxis. In some cases, a person is allergic to the vaccine or the ingredients in the vaccine itself. This can cause a strong allergic reaction with symptoms that range from itchy hives to fainting and swelling of the throat.
    • Transverse Myelitis. Vaccine-induced Transverse Myelitis can cause inflammation of the spinal cord that results in damage to the motor and sensory nerves. Symptoms of myelitis include blurred vision, depression, pain, weakness, paralysis, bladder and bowel dysfunction, and more. There is currently no cure for transverse myelitis, though treatment may provide some relief.

  • Ok vaccination shots should be really done one at a time, however at secondary school we all had the multi jab, it was a new thing then, like a circle with i think 6 points on it.

I suffered no problems, however if i look back i did go to the doctor with joint pains and bone pain, it was diagnosed i crap you not as growing pains, maybe the jab caused this never though about it really, but the pain i had on joints and bones was quite accute.

a bit like an old man. but got over it never ailed while at college or beyond, nowaday soemtimes get knee pain back pain etc, but there all work related.

  • Probably most of us had vaccinations as kids. But for the most part, you could trust the NHS and the doctors to do a decent job and give you the right thing in those days.

Now however, big pharma is in charge, whose only motive is profit. Cheaply-made vaccines sold dear for big profits, sometimes with lethal side-effects. Same attitude as getting people onto perpetual medication, another big earner for them.

They would just love compulsory vaccination. And compulsory medication too, while they're at it. And if a vaccine is only effective for 6 months, as now appears to be the case, think of the cash they can make out of compulsory annual vaccinations, if not 6-monthly ones.

    Nice little earner, Eh?

  • The anti vaccination movement became popular amongst parents because of several issues, one reason is side effects, injury, death. Another due to the early production of some vaccines being grown on human foetus. which is nolonger the case

    Vaccine Ingredients – Fetal Tissues

Varicella (chickenpox), rubella (the “R” in the MMR vaccine), hepatitis A, and one preparation of rabies vaccine are all made by growing the viruses in fetal embryo fibroblast cells. Two combination vaccines available in the U.S. also contain polio vaccine virus grown in fetal cells, Pentacel® and Quadracel®. Fibroblast cells are the cells needed to hold skin and other connective tissue together. The fetal embryo fibroblast cells used to grow vaccine viruses were first obtained from elective termination of two pregnancies in the early 1960s. These same embryonic cells obtained from the early 1960s have continued to grow in the laboratory and are used to make vaccines today. No further sources of fetal cells are needed to make these vaccines.

The reasons that fetal cells were originally used included:

    • Viruses need cells to grow and tend to grow better in cells from humans than animals (because they infect humans).
    • Almost all cells die after they have divided a certain number of times; scientifically, this number is known as the Hayflick limit. For most cell lines, including fetal cells, it is around 50 divisions; however, because fetal cells have not divided as many times as other cell types, they can be used longer. In addition, because of the ability to maintain cells at very low temperatures, such as in liquid nitrogen, scientists are able to continue using the same fetal cell lines that were isolated in the 1960s.

Kind of yes in a way but mostly no not at all.

The basic ethical test for giving medication without consent is whether or not it is a substitution for a need that could be otherwise met with more personpower (staffing).

Individuals can theoretically be isolated by person power and subject to negotiation might later consent to treatment.

As said compulsory vaccination would not pass these ethical tests or others and would not be considered potentially life saving in a real-time scenario.

Vaccination is not life saving treatment and despite evidence to the contrary in contempory society (in the way gvmt and police have behaved during this crisis) individual rights to self governance are highly supported in the UK.

We have already seen the CPS reject all charges applied to individuals detained for being suspected non compliant covid 19 carriers. It is possible that lawful challenges might further undermine gvmt and police actions in the context of covid19 in the near future.

Individuals in the UK have heavily protected rights that have historically been spuriously contravened but people are wising up.
