Any one have any new interesting and easy smoothie or milkshake recipies?

  • I love to make smoothies and milkshakes and was wondering if anyone has any new and interesting ones they can share?


    My favourite at the moment is coconut milk, a banana, oats, fruit flavoured Alpro Soya yogurt and a couple of strawberries!:D


    • 1 cup coconut milk
    • 1 banana, peeled, sliced, and frozen
    • 1 mango, skinned and chunked
    • 5 large strawberries, hulled

  • I am sharing the recipe of "Toasted Coconut Milkshakes"


    Ingredients:



    2 cups vanilla ice cream (get the good stuff!)
    1/2 cup cream of coconut
    1/8 cup whole milk
    11/2 cups coconut (sweetened)
    2 tbsps light corn syrup


    Please try this, its really yummy.

  • 2-3 Ripe bananas fresh or frozen
    1/4 cacao powder
    Bit of maca powder
    Handful of fresh blackberries
    Handful of fresh cherries
    1 cup water


    Blend and top with cacao powder and hemp seeds


    Like Black Forest cake!!!

  • Apple (as in good for each day)
    Pineapple (cleans your digestive system)
    Grape (for sweetness)
    Small handful spinach (I need the iron)
    Cucumber (cools the blood and good for eyes)
    Celery (gives depth and more green)
    Mint (another green dimension)


    Additional fruits to sweeten
    Including mango or pear when we have them
    Banana to thicken instead of mango


    Can be whole meal - :D

  • Grapefruit, spinach, frozen grapes, wheatgrass


    Coconut milk, baobab, lime, sweetener of choice


    Fresh pineapple, coconut milk, ashwaganda


    Coconut milk, banana, tahini, kale


    1 green apple, 2 inches of ginger (wake up shot)


    Wheatgrass, ashwaganda, pea protein, maca powder etc are good additives to sneak in to boost nutrient intake.


    If I'm juicing a lot, I try to stick to lower sugar fruits. I also make my coconut milk from scratch as a base for smoothies so I'm not using ones from a carton full of perservatives and stabilisers. Nut milks are very easy to make.

  • a few florets of frozen Broccoli
    Handful of frozen Peas
    Stick of celery
    1 Banana
    1 cup of Almond milk or coconut milk
    honey ( to sweeten)


    This one is refreshing in the morning.

  • I tend not to put any milks into my smoothies because of the calories.


    Typically I might have...


    Couple of bananas
    Handful of spinach
    Spoonful of raw almonds
    Spoonful of chia seeds
    Handful of Blueberries
    Handful of Raspberries
    Water


    I also don't follow recipes though, I just throw in whatever I have to hand. :D
