I've joined this forum and from what I've seen already, everyone seems lovely. How nice it is to find a community of people like this!
So here is my story: I cannot settle in one place. I don't think I will ever be able to settle in one place. I am 24 years old and according to silly standard boring stereotypes, I am very highly qualified (in that I have a lot of degrees). I don't care about that. I got my qualifications because I love what I do. End of. But people think I am highly qualified and therefore that I should stay in one place and earn a **** ton of money and get a house and all that. Not going to happen. I need freedom and I need the ability to move day to day. I have a long story, and I won't recall it here... but what I want to introduce myself as is a person that, for work reasons, has to be in Oxford, UK, for Oct-Dec, then Feb-Apr. For those four months, I want to live in a vehicle. Damn, I would live in a cardboard box. I just don't want to live in a house. The rest of the time I live in between places with my partner in the United States. When we move around, we are fine, but when I am in the UK I am on my own.
I hope you guys understand and I hope you can all help me to find a group of people that know what it means to be free. The thought of getting a housing contract petrifies me.
Looking forward to hearing about what you all think and hearing your suggestions for a free and liberal life.
Peace and love.
