Pretty much so. I thought DC's immigration speech was primarily aimed at liberal EU governments, drawing a line in the sand saying, "... this many and no more." Reasoned debate on immigration won't happen while politicians are scared silly about either being branded racist or using the I-word as a distraction technique for bad news elsewhere.

Immigration made this nation what it is, an empire forged from their sweated labour and now 'we' want to throw them away like a used tea bag. 'Thanks for driving the buses and keeping the hospitals staffed but you can go now.'
