I saw it last night.. kind of a horror movie more than a drama isn`t it?? It sent proper shivers down my spine in a few places i could barely watch parts of it. I think it`ll take a few days for it to properly sink in that it`s real and women are actually being made to live like that.

Also try Burton's latest which should still be in cinemas, Frankenweenie. Animated, with Winona Ryder voicing a young girl, which is a bit eery as she must now be 40 at least.

Argo - A dramatization of the 1980 joint CIA-Canadian secret operation to extract six fugitive American diplomatic personnel out of revolutionary Iran.

Best line in the movie - "Argo fuck yourself!"

Plan for the weekend was to see a series of variety am-drams, upon arriving found out they'd had a few issues and now the show was a singular am-dram, quite possibly mind-numbing and ever so slightly worse than death for all in the sprog age group. A quick chinese parliament was organised where a unanimous vote was passed to bugger off sharpish and see what was on at the local picture house. As luck would have it Skyfall was due to start in 5 mins so we all piled in to see that, and very glad we did too. The young'uns loved all the action, the old'un loved the nostalgic quips and the cinematography was spectacular, a framed poster shot in virtually every scene. All that action takes it out of you so after the film we hit the nearest Italian purveyor of glorified cheese-on-toast to try and devour pizzas bigger than our own heads. We nearly succeeded but a few crusts remained. All in all a pretty good day.
