Oh good grief. Essay is now written. My back hurts. I love how I managed to do a facial and dye my hair whilst writing a respectable piece of work. Fabulous.
Eat lots of bacon (about a month or two ago I became no longer a veggie after thirteen years!) put make up on. Leave the shower running too long.
what to do now.....for four hours. hmm..
Watch it here! Oh and this is not me evangelising ...as it really is one of the most romanticized, inaccurate versions of the Nativity ever..but Joseph's hot ...Mary is hot...and it is sort of like the "Chick Flick" version on the Nativity so yeah...it's great!
Aw, thank you! I miss you guys. Hope everyone is really, wonderfully good x x x
Exceptionally so. I seriously cannot believe how much she looks like me. And Joseph was hotttt.

if I did not love my hair how it is naturally so much, I would have dreads I think..
My boyfriend came with me last week to see the consultant about me getting sterilised. We've been through a very rocky patch this summer but we've come through it together and it meant alot that he came with me to the appointment and insisted i put him down as my next of kin n stuff...
anyways when we were coming out of the hospital i had a bit of a moment, that same day i'd found out a friend of mine had managed to give birth vaginally after 2 c-sections - and i had so desperatley wanted to experience a vaginal birth myself but had never gotten to do it... n now i am gettin my tubes clipped which is something i really want but i am allowed to just have a moment to grieve the end of my fertility....so i was having a little cry and he took my hand (which he hasn't done for ages) and he said "remember when little bloblet was just a teeny tiny spec in your tummy?" "and remember the day bloblet became Henry?".... "and then came our little bumpatron and the day she was born was so beautiful..." and the bugger made me cry even harder lol but with big happy tears and then he said "we've got two beautiful children together and you've got a beautiful son and they are all healthy and happy and thats all that matters bab - our perfect complete family" and that was a very special moment cos even when he's being a grump i know thats how he feels about us all lovely thread xxxx
Lush lush lush. Lovely to read.
Could you explain that a little bit?
Do you think all women should be subservient to men?
Yes I do.
That is not saying I do not think men and women are equal in their love and favor.
And also I think men should be respectful of their power.
Women and men were made to shine at different things. Have different roles.
I'd prefer that to be celebrated rather than challenged. Basically.
I dont think that its feminisms intention to make women feel weak if they want men to take a more dominate role
What feminism is about is allowing women to have choice about how they live their lives. Taking a submissive role is a matter of choice BUT it should not be imposed on any woman.
In you opinion that is. I whole heartedly disagree and see it from a totally different point of view.
Oh yep, was totally a throw away bit of banter (to an extent) about the female goddesses (or so I took it?) there's a lot of love between us for sure!!
And Rombald. Some good theology basis you have there. Yes in OT times, under Roman Law life would have been somewhat oppressive for women, being a woman would mean being a slave of a man. Jesus absolutely came along and made postive changes for the levels of respect and treatment of wives and women .
Whilst I found the original suffragette movement inspiring and essential to modern female stance in this day and age, I personally find modern day feminism disconcerting.
I think women should not be made to feel weak if they see men as the more dominant, ruling sex. Some people just believe and choose to follow lifestyles where they take on more submissive roles.
Feminism is nothing I take an interest in.
My opinions of womanhood would most likely be judged as "sexist" and thus get me banned from here even though I whole heartedly believe in my views, feel content, liberated even within them and MOST privileged to be a female.
So I will leave it at that! x
there's a queue..take a ticket and join the line :pp..mind you he's 3rd behind Mr May and Mr Oliver on my list of eccentric boffable blokes...Though I'm making do with Coyote for now
Oliver as in Neil Oliver?
I abolutely fancy him too ASWELL as Hugh and James.
Scar, I am scared.
guess who caught the bouquet again late night!?! Moi! xx
Thinking about how I feel a mixture of throwing up and crying. Urgh I wish I was not so stupidly obsessive.
How relaxed I am. Spent the evening at Whittlebury Hall Spa. Being massaged, dined and in several steam and sauna rooms, under jets and in the ice cave. Feel so renewed.
Today we are going Llama trekking through the countryside. I love my life.
We are not comparing them to MY beliefs though. i am pointing out Richard Dawkins made these sorts of claims..never did I make those claims and I am not Richard Dawkins , obviously.
Once again I try to bring attention to new age religions and opinions we have on them and yet again it turns into a discussion about Chrisianity with all the same unoriginal points.
I'd love for us to discuss something without comparing it to the *evils* you all find in Chrisitianity. It is a constant U-turn.
Apparently impossible. Am done.
He also claims as the title shows the more New Age religions to be the ENEMIES of reason.
Just how the fact Richard Dawkins presented so many of the *beliefs* people on here have to be completely un-plausable, ridiculous and almost insane? x x
